At LEEC our secret ingredient is our amazing teachers! We celebrate our diverse team who shows up every day to support the children, families and each other! This month we would like to introduce you to the toddler team! This group of talented professionals works with our 12-24 month old friends. In the toddler classroom there is lots of love, hugs, laughing and almost always…a mess…. Our toddlers learn about their world through hands on experiences that are designed by our toddler team.

Meet our toddler team pictured below. Patricia AKA P, Trish & Tiffany (Tiff). We asked these talented, caring ladies why they like to work with toddlers, why they enjoy LEEC and to share a fun fact about themselves. See their responses below!

Trish
Assistant Toddler Teacher
“I love working with the todds because every day is an adventure. Toddlers are so much fun. It brings joy to my heart when I see their growth during the school year.”
“LEEC makes you feel like you’re part of family. You are never just a number at LEEC. You’re a team member.”
Fun Fact: I’m a big fan of the artist Andrew Wyeth

Tiffany
Floating Teacher
“I enjoy working with toddlers because it’s so rewarding to see their development
firsthand. I love watching their vocabulary grow and seeing their imaginations at
work—especially when they feed their baby dolls or share toys with friends.”
“I really enjoy working at LEEC because we’re a team. It’s a great place to work, and I appreciate how we encourage and support one another. I’m especially grateful for the teachers who have taken the time to pour into me and help me grow.”
Fun Fact: I love animals!

Patricia (P)
Lead Toddler Teacher
“I like working with the toddlers to see them grow and prosper in what I help them to learn day by day. Being in the toddlers is also full of joy, smiles, cries, hugs, curiosity, messiness, and so much more. There’s never a dull moment or a chance to think that you are bored.”
“I like, actually love to work at LEEC because its been a place that you can sense that not only are you an employee but you are supported just as much as you are supporting the children and families you are teaching. “
Fun fact: I climbed up and climbed down a difficult hiking trail – Hawk Run Overlook in North Duncannon very recently. It was hard but totally worth it at the top as you can sit and watch the hawks fly.
